Granulated Tapioca Sweet Recipe

Ingredients to make granulated tapioca sweet:

 1 cup sago, pearls of tapioca or granulated tapioca

 2 cups of water (480 milliliters)

 2 cups of milk (480 milliliters)

 ¾ Cup of Sugar (120 grams)

 2 tablespoons of corn starch (Maisa)

 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

How to Make Candy Grainy Tapioca:

To prepare this sweet tapioca begins by putting the tapioca pearls in a pan with the 2 cups of water and bring to medium-low heat. When you start boiling, stir constantly not to burn.

Tip: The pearls of tapioca are also called sago or granulated tapioca depending on the regions of Brazil. Check out the photo to make sure that product is.

Cook the tapioca until moisturize well, grow and transparent. If necessary, add more water.

Tip: This process may take up to 20-30 minutes.

We know that tapioca is at the point when it is totally transparent and with soft consistency. At that moment dissolves corn starch in milk and add in the pan, as well as sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Stay stirring up to dissolve the grains of sugar and get a thick cream.

Tip: If you prefer a slower sweet, drain the tapioca water before adding the other ingredients.
