How to make Palmito in Canna:

It is very easy to make canned palm! Begin by cleaning the palms well, removing the hard fibers and taking advantage of only the core.

Take the medium fire a pan with water, lemon juice and salt. When the water is boiling, add the palms and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until soft, without undo.

Tip: Water should cover the palms completely. If this does not happen, add more.

Then if you want, you can cut the palms into pieces or slices. Place in a sterile glass pot, complete with the cooking water (preferably warm), cover and reserve in the refrigerator.
